Embroidery Sewing Machine

If you do any craft projects that involve fabric, you will likely find yourself eventually wanting the ability to embroider.
Many people still enjoy the process of hand embroidery, but if you’re looking simply to embellish another project, and hand embroidery is more of a chore than an art for you, look into getting an embroidery sewing machine.
Embroidery sewing machines come in a range of sizes, quality and costs. All of the sewing machine companies manufacture these machines now.
The least expensive option is to get a basic sewing machine that has embroidery stitches on it. These stitches good for basic projects, like crazy quilts. They usually have at least one small alphabet on them, too, so you can label kid’s towels for camp and the like.
The next step up is to get a computerized sewing and embroidery machine. These machines can still be used for all of your basic sewing needs, but they take the embroidery aspect a step further.
Usually, they will have a slot for a memory card of some sort, and you can download embroidery designs from the sewing machine manufacturers’ websites.
The very top of the line models of this kind of machine will have software you can use on your home computer to create your own embroidery designs.
Then, by downloading these designs to your sewing machine, you have one of a kind embroidered artwork.
Next on the list is the true embroidery sewing machine. These machines are used solely for embroidery.
The smaller of these can usually accommodate limited sizes…sometimes up to five by seven inches, or maybe slightly larger. Again, you can download patterns to embroider, or create your own designs.
The top of the line home embroidery machines allow you to design right on the machine, using a stylus on a screen imbedded in the front of the sewing machine.
Other versions let you install multiples spools of thread, so they can embroider it automatically, rather than stopping after each color while you change thread.
Regardless of what your embroidery needs are, it’s obvious there is an embroidery sewing machine out there that will work perfectly for your projects!
