Next on the list is the true embroidery sewing machine. These machines are used solely for embroidery.

The smaller of these can usually accommodate limited sizes…sometimes up to five by seven inches, or maybe slightly larger. Again, you can download patterns to embroider, or create your own designs.

The top of the line home embroidery machines allow you to design right on the machine, using a stylus on a screen imbedded in the front of the sewing machine.

Other versions let you install multiples spools of thread, so they can embroider it automatically, rather than stopping after each color while you change thread.
